Steampunk Fairytale: Block of the Month

Embark on a six-month journey and prepare to be enchanted!  Discover the Quiltworx approach to foundation paper piecing while crafting this mystical masterpiece.  This spellbinding pattern, measuring 99" x 99" features Log Cabin stars, Pyramid Star Border units, Feathered Star blocks, and the Wagon Wheel border.  Monthly cutting and group prep videos are included with the class to help with your quest.

SKILL LEVEL: Requires basic paper piecing knowledge and traditional piecing skills, including curved piecing, are required to complete this fairy tale adventure.

There are two sessions for this class. The first session will be held on Friday's once a month from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, March 27th, April 24th, May 29th, June 26th, July 24th and August 28th. The second session will be held on Saturday's 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, March 28th, April 25th, May 30th, June 27th, July 25th and August 29th. The cost for this class is $150, with pattern and fabric kits available for purchase (soon).  Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to prepare for class.  Feel free to bring a snack or light lunch.  Please note that all drinks must have a cap or lid.

You will need: Steampunk Fairytale pattern (required) and fabric (see pattern or kit).  You will also need: sewing machine w/manual, open toe and 1/4" feet; neutral thread; new needle (70/10 Microtex recommended); large cutting mat (24" x 36" recommended); rotary cutter (28mm and 60mm recommended); iron and pressing mat; small snips; seam ripper; 2.5" x 12" ruler and 6.5" x 24" ruler; 12" Add-a-quarter ruler (6" optional); pins; fold template, repositional glue stick; fabric glue stick; Purple Thang (optional); fabric marking tool; #2 pencil; highlighter; sharpie; gallon size plastic bags; large binder clips; large paper clips; scotch tape.

Class must have a minimum of 3 participants for the class to be held.  If the class does not make, you will have your choice of a refund using your original payment method, or store credit.  If you cancel or are a no show, no refund will be issued, however any kit items purchased will be given to you on your next visit.  Thank you.
