IT'S FINALLY HERE...the class you've all been waiting for!  The fabric has arrived and the kits are cut - now we just need YOU!  HAPPINESS IS FPP!  Interested in learning about Foundation Paper Piecing? This class is a great introduction to paper piecing the Jacqueline de Jonge "BeColourful" way!  Things you will learn:
* Information about FPP patterns and supplies (BeColourful Specific)
* Foundation Paper Piecing
* How to make precise points in star units, spiked circles and flying geese units
* How to use pin basting for perfect seam intersections
* Sewing inset circles and using second seam allowances for circling them up
* Freezer paper template techniques
* Tips and tricks to stay organized and how to cut and use fabric sparingly

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner Foundation Paper piecers welcome, but must have experience with traditional and curved piecing. Sewing homework may be required.

This is s 4 week class and please note that attendance will be necessary for all class dates.  If you know you will not be available during one or more of the class sessions, please refrain from signing up.  This class will be offered again early in 2025.  Class dates are Friday's, September 13th, 20th and 27th, and October 4th, from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.  Cost for the class is $85.00 and required kit is an additional $89.00.

You will need: 1 pre-cut mandatory kit.  You will also need: sewing machine with manual and 1/4"  and open toe foot; WHITE thread for piecing; NEW 70/10 Microtex needle; 6" x 12" or 6' x 24" ruler; 12" Add-A-Quarter ruler (6" optional); rotary cutter (45mm or 28mm with new blade); cutting mat; iron and pressing mat (optional); fine pins; seam ripper, small snips, paper scissors; Scotch repositionable glue; Purple Thang; Fabric marking tool (heat resistant); #2 pencil, highlighter and sharpie; (8) plastic bags (quart or gallon size); binder clips & paper clips.  Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to set-up and prepare for class.  You may want to pack a lunch or snack.  Please note there is a lid requirement for all drinks.

Class must have a minimum of 3 participants for the class to be held.  If the class does not make, you will have your choice of a refund using your original payment method, or store credit.  If you cancel or are a no show, no refund will be issued, however any kit items purchased will be given to you on your next visit.  Thank you.
