Collage Quilts

Join us on Thursday, February 11th, from 4 to 7 pm to learn the collage method used by Laura Heine, Danny Amazonas, and others.  Collage quilting does not require a sewing machine.  You will need to bring or purchase: a collage pattern; a black Sharpie Marker; some fine tipped very sharp scissors (I like the Karen K Buckley scissors); a Precision Fusing mat with Teflon coated pressing sheet; tweezers; small iron and ironing surface; and lots of scraps measuring 5x5 if possible.  Large prints that can be fussy cut work really well with the larger patterns.  Come by the shop to discuss if you need help with your pattern and/or fabric selection. You will also need Steam a Seam (regular or lite), and Patternease (sold in the store).  If you are signed up and have paid for an upcoming class, your supplies are 10% off!!
